One for kimchi

I was at MidValley earlier today,i need to get a new suit as i been invited for black tie dinner...unfortunately couldn't find anything i want so i end up looking something i need.!!! Food obviously

So i saw this restaurant at the ground floor...quick check and yes...korean cuisine

Back in 2009/10, i frequent South Korea perhaps more often then my visit to my grandma house...for that i have develop a craving for korean meal ever since i have stop visiting the country...

The thing about korean food in malaysia...most restaurants prepared confuse meal between korean, japanese,Chinese and suit it to local taste and called it korean...huh???

This shop have some fu*ked up name...It is named as Dubu Dubu... Wtf??? Yes it meant tofu in korean but in malay, it sound like a dirty word...kindda stupid to me...

Now back to what matter the most...the food...i ordered beef soondubu jigae (a korean style beef broth) ,bibimbab for my wife and fried glass noodle for my son

Both soondubu and bibimbab come with 3 korean side dishes...i already start salivating just to think the about delicious kimchi as side dish...

Service was a bit slow..it took more than 15 minutes for food to arrive...and when it arrived i was only fractionally disappointed which is good...

The soondubu is a delicious beef broth,i love the tofu and egg and the taste is almost identical to what i had in korea...even the bibimbab is 85% identical to korean version...but the 3 side dishes kindda suck...the kimchi is from the lowest quality possible, and kindda weird to get macaronni as side dish to korean meal??? Oh yess, the glass noodle is quite good as well

I said it good as other halal korean restaurant in malaysia serve shitty food...so i be happy to come back

Soondubu Jigae (Beef) is a must try !!!
